list as a whole, or just individually? Either way,

Some wisenheimer decided to try and register the letterboxing list to the
geocaching list. Then another wisenheimer (perhaps the original person)
approved the registration. I have unsubscribed the letterbox-usa list from
geocaching.

We have traced the initial request to a Juno account in New York. We will
contact Juno and apprise them of the situation.

Folks,

Just to be clear, the list was subscribed, not each member of the list.

So you don't have to unsubscribe from this list, and you don't have to
attempt to unsubscribe from the geocaching list.

The owner of letterbox-usa did not approve it. There are several ways
this can happen, despite what the geocaching list says (as quoted by Kay)
about this stuff.

FOLKS, PLEASE DON'T START A GEOCACHING/LETTERBOXING FLAME WAR ON THIS
LIST :-)
